Sometimes when we dream of getting away, we don’t even know where to start.

We are so tied down in the messiness of life that we can’t pause and dream of what recharging would look like.

We fret over making one more decision.

We worry that we’ll have to ask permission.

We can’t think of how to make it all work.

If you’re thinking these things, you are not alone. I hear them all the time from clients.

So, as a first step to dreaming into recharging, I invite you to ask yourself:

What do I need to retreat from?

Why?

Because most of the time we know very clearly what we DON’T want…..

  • The stresses of a work project.
  • A strained conversation with a difficult boss or co-worker.
  • Endless caring for kiddos without respite – especially in summer.
  • An exhausted body or mind.
  • A sluggish body from lack of self-care.
  • Mind-numbing activities that don’t feel nourishing.

When I created my “How to Create a Mini-Retreat” workbook, I knew I wanted to start with the question of what you feel you need to retreat FROM.

Because by choosing to let go, you can step more easily into creating a beneficial and healing time for yourself.

It helps clear the way so that you can then ask “What do I want to retreat TO?”

And is the beginning of creating a wonderful, rejuvenating Mini-Retreat for yourself!

(Which, BTW, can be 30-minutes, 2 hours or whatever amount of time works for you.)

I invite you to download this DIY workbook to walk you through the process.

It’s just $39, and you can do it on your own time – anywhere.

(You can also reuse it over and over again – anytime you want a break!)

Just take it from Missy:

Here’s to resting and recharging.

Because you deserve it to be the best friend, partner, mother, daughter, co-worker, employee, volunteer you can be.
Love,
Jenny
