Sometimes, even when you try to be thoughtful with your gift giving, it just falls flat.

Like that time I got my outdoorsy, backpacking, Springsteen-fanatic boyfriend an expensive harmonica and beginners instruction book, and a CD “learn to play harmonica” as a Christmas present. (This was not intended to be a joke, but it was kinda funny.)

It checked most of the boxes:  it was lightweight, great around a campfire and nearly all great Bruce songs are at your fingertips.

Except he had exactly zero interest in playing music.

Yeah, that was a bust.

It happens.

Then there are those times when you find something so special, so absolutely perfect that you know the person will be absolutely delighted to receive it. That feeling of being known, seen, appreciated, honored — that feels amazing for the giver and the receiver.

In this final stretch of 2017, what if you were to tune into your own wants and needs the way you might for a dear friend or loved one? What do you want? What do you need? What would make you feel loved, cared for and happy?

In my coaching, self-care (or lack of) comes up a lot as people aim to make big changes in their lives.

And I’m curious:  What is the most nourishing thing you could do for yourself in the final 5 days of the year?  (If you are drawing a complete blank, check out this list of nourishing ideas and see if your juices get flowing.)

I encourage you to tune into what you want and need and make THAT a priority. NOW.

Another important element of growth is knowing where you are going, or having a Vision. And if you’ve been following me for a while you know how much I love Vision!

How would it feel to get clear on what you want for your life?  How cool would it be to be supported and inspired through the process – with other amazing women alongside of you?

You can do both as you give yourself the gift of the 2018 Visioning Experience, offered in Austin in January and February.

This new experience has two parts:  a Vision Board Workshop and a private Vision Integration Session with me. (You can learn more here.)

“This was such a magical experience but I’ve always created them alone. I’ve done a lot of Vision Boards in my life, to tune into my vision within a group and under your guidance.  I LOVE it. Thank you, Jenny.”

Sound like it’s right up your alley? It should. I created this with my clients and friends in mind.

It is truly a gift to be able to do work you love, are passionate about, and that you know helps others. This work is the latest evolution of me sharing these gifts with the world. Regardless of if you are in Austin, or in Zambia, I invite you to give yourself a gift of tuning into your intuition and create your Vision. Let’s see what unfolds in 2018.

“The greatest gift you can give yourself is a little bit of your own attention.”
