I keep hearing over and over again from my clients and friends how stressful the fall season can be.
Schedules can be new and still shifting. (Whether or not you have school-aged kids, you probably notice increased traffic, activities to attend and so much more.)
The end of the year is approaching. (Deadlines, goals and quotas need to be met, planning for the new year begins….oh and the holidays? Your to-do list is growing.)
On top of the “normal” stress of life, some of us are navigating major changes in our homes, relationships, workplaces or our health.
It’s a lot.
When I get overwhelmed, my self-care practices fall to the wayside. It isn’t a conscious choice, of course, it is me responding to so much to do without being clear on how to take good care of myself.
I set aside my journal.
I forget to do my yoga.
I don’t take enough quality time to be with my husband.
I don’t take time to connect with friends.
I feel like I don’t have time to even put some nice hand lotion on my hands..or drink enough water…or…
When I forget to do these things, I suffer.
I get cranky.
I feel gross.
I am restless.
And, I’ll be honest: when I’m not at my best, I don’t bring my best to my family or my work.
Do you ever notice some of your self-care practices slipping away? Or maybe you forget about them altogether?
It’s ok. I get it.
That’s why I’m so excited to share a free opportunity with you to help you take a pause and get nourished, recharged and energized.
